Directly from the curator. Each listing shows the curator's neighborhood, and once they accept your request you coordinate exact pickup time and place together in Cache messages.

No - there's no deposit. Each listing carries a damage liability cap the owner sets, anywhere from $0 up to the item's replacement value. Nothing is charged or held upfront - your card simply stays on file, and it's only charged if a damage claim is filed and approved, capped at the listed liability cap.

Both sides photograph the gear at pickup and return, so there's a timestamped condition record. Honest wear is never charged; real damage is mediated by Cache and charged to the card on file, capped at the listing's liability cap.
